There I stood as a small kid who still need my fathers hand to lead me.

Yesterday on the 28th Sept 2011 I went jungle trekking with my dad. Like usual we were talking about random stuff while both of us were trekking. After a few kilometers of trekking we came to a part of the jungle where there was a fallen tree that serves as a bridge. A few meter beneath it was the river with large stones. We were in a situation where me must cross the river using the fallen tree bridge which was like 7cm in diameter.
Dad went 1st on the bridge to test whether its usable or not. He successfully crosses it and waited for me to cross. I have bit of fear for heights. Well who don't! So I was thinking whether or not to cross as my legs were shivering 'a bit' !

From the other end, dad was giving me encouragement but still I can't make my move. Then dad came back and took my hands and lead me to cross the bridge. I crossed the bridge with not much of difficulties and my fears flew from me instantly.

For that second I learned a lesson, no matter how big we grow we still need guidance from our parents. My father never thought for a second that he might hurt himself as a small mistake may make him fall and could cause serious injury with me giggling with each and every step of mine.
'There I stood as a helpless small kid who still needs my fathers hands to lead me. '
Love you dad. You are the best. Proud to be your son!
