Reasons for a guy to love 50 Shades of Grey

1. Single Minded Attention

Christian is supremely single minded when it comes to Anastasia. He’s focused on her, and only her.

He doesn’t squander his attention or sexual energy on other women in any way. If there is a gorgeous woman within sight, he doesn’t take his eyes off of Anastasia for a sec.

Christian wants Anastasia, and he is clear in his intent.

2. Unapologetic Sexual Desire

Christian unapologetically craves Anastasia. He is a calm, controlled man with a healthy relationship to his sexuality and he finds Anastasia absolutely captivating. He lusts after her like most women have never experienced in real life.

It’s an aphrodisiac to feel someone’s eyes on you from across the room (something that she does several times throughout the trilogy).

Christian is always in control of his sexual desire, but just barely. It is the line that he walks between being in control of his sexual beast, and her alllllmost making him lose control of himself that she finds so erotic.

3. Driven

It’s not the fact that Christian has billions of dollars or a chiseled torso that women find attractive so much what those things say about him as a person. The external markers of success and health speak to his unrelenting drive and passion for what he does in his life.

It’s not that he has strong muscles, it’s the fact that he has a strong enough of a mind to have earned those muscles. And it is much the same in real life. Most women aren’t attracted to rich men because they have lots of money as much as they’re attracted to those kinds of men because those men are self-aware, driven, and actually care enough about something in their lives that they want to chase it down and conquer it.

4. Love and affection

If he was only ever sexually aggressive with her then it would get old fast. Predictability is death to sexual passion. It would be like if someone learned how to play one chord on a guitar and then only played that one chord over and over again (whereas knowing just four or five chords enables you to play entire songs that are much more emotionally engaging). Christian is the opposite of someone who knows how to play one chord. In fact, he is described as “mercurial” 17 times in the trilogy.

When Christian isn’t tying up/spanking/flogging Anastasia, he frequently holds her, caresses her, adores her, and kisses her on the forehead. He is strong, and soft. Aggressive and sweet. He is all things in an ever-changing hurricane of masculine energy.

Action steps: love and compliment your woman. Be sweet to her when she’s sick, grumpy, or having a rough day. Kiss her on the forehead, play with her hair, make dinner for her. Be a good partner.

5. Decisive

Christian knows who he is and what he wants out of life… so when he decides that he WANTS Anastasia… it actually means something. Most guys choose a woman because they choose him first or simply because of how they look.

Christian has standards. He has insanely strict standards in fact. He orders a simple gin and tonic with about 30 hyper detailed words of specificity. The man knows himself. So his decisions mean something. He does not have low standards in any area of his life.

Action steps: make firm decisions. Stop settling when it comes to matters of your integrity. Feel passionate about something and let it show. Don’t be afraid to lead your dates. Proactively communicate to your partner things that they can do to make you even happier, and strive to do the same for them.

6. Intentionality

Christian is always in control of himself. He is super capable because he decided early on in life to regularly invest time and effort into developing a wide range of abilities. Simply put, he is hyper intentional about his life. He believes in self-mastery and is always looking for ways to challenge himself and improve as a person.

Action steps: live your life on purpose. Commit to growing as a person every single day. Challenge your comfort zones by traveling as often as possible and taking on new skills.

7. Willingness To Be Vulnerable

Christian has a mean history of trauma and abuse in his early life. It’s part of what drove him to succeed to the extent that he did. And one of the most endearing qualities of Christian as a character is that he slowly lets Anastasia into his emotional world and he lets her help heal his emotional wounds.

Modern men are raised with such a shamed mentality around their emotions.

Boys don’t cry. Never let ‘em see you sweat. Feel less, achieve more, don’t complain about anything.

Because of socially conditioned ideas like these being hammered into us, we also tend to intuit the lesson that women will lose attraction to us if we ever DO let them see us sweat/suffer/have a moment of “weakness”.

In reality, a quality woman will genuinely want to be let into your emotional world. She knows that you have some cracks in your proverbial armour because everyone has emotional wounds in their past to be worked through. Holding her back from letting her see you is like repeatedly denying her something she desperately longs for. She wants to be let in. And not to judge you or think any less of you… but to help heal your heart with her feminine nurturing and love.

While Christian doesn’t dump his past and heavy emotional baggage on Anastasia upon first meeting her (as he shouldn’t), he slowly lets her know more about him as he grows to trust her more through their relationship. This is the essence of healthy, high-functioning boundaries… he lets her in because he trusts her, and women (like all people) want to feel like they are trusted.

Action steps: let your partner see you. Don’t be afraid to share your secrets with people you trust. Let your lover in to your world and trust that they have your best interest at heart.

Better Malaysia? Maximize Our Moderation.

Moderation is best defined the avoidance of excess or extremes, especially in one’s behavior or political opinions. The word is so “heavy” that I think not enough importance is placed on its meaning when it is defined.
Even after more than five decades of gaining independence, we are still lagging behind in so many areas. What we should have had after all these years is love and acceptance of each other, with all of us having lived under one roof, which in this case, being Malaysia, we have become more divided.
We are unable to accept and respect each other’s beliefs and, in fact, destroyed all our “basic family values”, which should have grown from strength to strength. Why are we not living as one big united family? What went wrong? Have we stopped loving our country or are we thriving on our own personal beliefs, and distrusting everyone, except ourselves? How did this uncaring attitude, distrust, lack of equality, disrespect for each other come about?
Answer: Extremism!
Obviously, there are many among us who are saddened by all this. These moderates who have continuously believed that Malaysia without extremism is the place and the country to live in. Strangely enough, their voices are not loud enough and not much publicity or coverage is given to this in our society. The extremists have clearly become so loud and deafening, so much so it is like they are “our new leaders” and are eagerly waiting, on the sidelines, to disrupt our peace-loving nation. These extremists are just ”attention seekers”, creating disruption and going all-out to take away what our forefathers have fought so hard to achieve 57 years ago.
Extremism has no place and should never be allowed in a diverse nation like Malaysia.
Moderation has to be practiced more in our beloved nation in every way possible to defeat extremism completely.
Let’s hail the moderates and let us live up to our 57th National Day theme: Malaysia where love grows!
May our children be blessed with what being Malaysian truly is.

May Your 2015 be SUPER!

Dear readers,
First of all we would like to wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR, may this 2015 be filled with
success and prosperity!
One thing that I observe in 2014 that we need to give serious consideration in 2015 is HEALTH! It's very important to take care of your health as you may have everything you wanted in life but without health there's no point in it. Not only yours but to those around you; parents, relatives, friends and neighbors. Sad to say Malaysians don't really give enough importance to health compared to other countries. Look for the statistics its saddening. Losing a loved one is not easy!
So the below are a few things to do keep you health at check:-
A BLOOD test is one of the ways to check and monitor your health. You can check your cholesterol or blood sugar level before your condition gets worst. Don’t wait for a stroke or unhealed ulcer as it may be too traumatic for you.
Check your eye pressure yearly to monitor if your eye pressure is normal. High occular pressure is more common when we get older and it is one of the reasons the elderly become blind.
Bone density checks can be done yearly to detect osteoporosis so that remedial action can be taken rather than wait for a fracture.
Have mammograms to detect early breast cancer which is more common among older women.
Today hiring a foreign maid is very expensive and children have no time for their parents if they need long-term care. Therefore, living a healthy lifestyle with an annual check-up is a wise move that ensures an independent and healthy life.

Have a blessed year! Take care.

Boycott; who gets the “hit”?

It is with my deepest regret and grief over the Israel and Palestine conflict and the suffering and pain our brothers and sisters are going through there, I’m moved to write this article. I’m a Hindu by birth but a Malaysian by heart and a human by virtue. I can’t tolerate the unlawful killing of any other human.
At first I was reluctant to write or comment over this whole boycott plan as I worry it might invoke the sensitivity of my fellow Islam friends but when I saw this statement over the internet and as personal messages to me :-
“Jumaat ni diorg nak buat Hari Tanpa Mcd Malaysia. Dalam masa 24jam, takde siapa makan mcd. Bgtau kawan2.. Nnti ade yg tak tahu pulak. Satu Malaysia boycott mcd hari jumaat ni. Malayu cina india semua agama boycott. Kemanusiaan.. Sebarkan yer..”
I understood that the idea of the boycott is means to be “us”, Malaysians as one whole family which means I have every right to comment on.
I’m not sure if this boycott is a genuine plan or propaganda/manipulative moves by irresponsible parties making use of this hard times for personal gain but I observe that the internet society has taken this seriously! I see netizen’s making banners, poster in preparation for this boycott.
Who are we cheating here actually? This whole boycott propaganda, who is going to suffer as a result of it? You mean to say the Israel? Don’t misuse the grief and anger of my fellow naive netizens over the suffering of the people affected by the war in Palestine. When I say “hit”, I’m referring to the ‘impact’ of the boycott.
This boycott would leave a greater impact to the Malaysian working with the corporations you intend to bring down compared to the impact it would leave on the war. Easy way for all this corporations to stop making loss without impact to their shares in the stock market is to reduce workers salary, allowance or in worse case termination of employment.
In my view this an unnecessary move which is utter waste of time and resources. Like me, I’m sure many out there are disgruntled of the happening in Gaza but this boycott is not a solution. The “hit”-impact of the boycott is on us, fellow Malaysians working with corporations alleged to be part of funding to the war. There and many other ways to help the GAZA. Please go make donations from genuine sources provided on the capacity that you can afford. Ask me to march or give a memorandum to the relevant department or embassy; I’ll definitely do.

I’ve seen boycott and protest over this war conflict in Malaysia, it’s a joke for them! Most of the participants don’t even know much of the reasons of their boycott act. They join this protest for cheap fame, taking “selfies”, posting photos on social networks and making unnecessary troubles and remarks which are much uncalled for.
Having said all that, I urge fellow Malaysia to show your support to end the war in Gaza by proper means and not participating in illegal assemblies and uncalled-for boycotts which has no proper evidence to prove their alleged funding for the war.

Sub-standard as Our New Standard Malaysia?

The tsunami of sub-standard attitude has become part of us Malaysians.

Many Malaysians, if anything is not working well, “tidak apa lah”. (It doesn't matter) If someone had not finished their work but it was time to go home, “tidak apa lah”. When something is made sloppy, “tak apa lah”.
We put up with below par standards, attitudes and work because they all still functioned, more or less. So why put in the extra mile to do something properly?
After years of the “tidak apa attitude”, we now have evolved to a catchphrase: “biasa lah”. (that’s normal). And usually it refers to when something goes wrong.
Let me give examples:-
I neighbors house was undergoing some renovations, it was understandable that I've gotto suffer with the sound pollution and dust caused. As the contractors were doing some piping the removed my house rain piping and promised me to put back things in place after. On the note all the piping was done on my side of the house and was not in any way interfering with the neighboring house but then I didn't want to be a pain in the ass to my new next-door. After the renovation was over the rain pipe-line was installed on my pillar broken, dented and my pillar all ruined. When asked about it the contractors replied "biasa lah" things like this happen when there is a renovation going on.
Another example, went to a stall to buy some kuih and saw lotsa flies, when asked the Malay aunty replied, "lalat pun nak makan juga". First was no initiative to give customer hygienic food then the sambil lewa answer.
What all this means is that after years of tidak apa, we have come to a situation where shoddy work is considered normal.
We have become so accustomed to it that we accept standards which are much lowered. People now tell you that they didn't reply your email from two months ago but provide no excuse for it. That’s just the way it is. I really wonder where this is going to lead. Are our standards going to deteriorate further until, despite our fancy buildings, we truly become a Third World country again?
I am afraid that if this “biasa lah” attitude carries on, we will see a real deterioration in all our services and professions. Already, sales people who can’t answer any questions have a tendency to disappear rather than face an irritated customer. Sooner or later, our trains will be even later, roads will go unrepaired and more strange radar blips will be ignored.
Due to the "tidak apa" attitude of AirAsia staff I missed my flight. When clearly something could have been done. The counter staff just called the manager "she claims" said not a word and hang up saying nothing could't be done when clearly the plane is still there and it was just a domestic flight.
The nation needs a serious makeover, let alone the political side but the mentality most importantly. JOM UBAH! Ini kali lah!

Sub-standard work is considered usual and we now accept standards which are much lowered in our daily lives.

To Make The CONSTITUTION Part Of The School Syllabus

Among things that I think we need for a better future as a nation is better education system. Education today determines the fate of our nation tomorrow.
Apart from the proposal "free education for all", I think a more do able one would be "to make the constitution part of the school syllabus"

Well let me tell you how I got this idea,
Still remember those good old school days where we were forced to remember and recite the "rukunegara".

  • KEPERCAYAAN KEPADA TUHAN
  • KESETIAAN KEPADA RAJA DAN NEGARA
  • KELUHURAN PERLEMBAGAAN
  • KEDAULATAN UNDANG-UNDANG
  • KESOPANAN DAN KESUSILAAN

  • Do you know the legal standing of our national principle/rukunegara? Well it is just a principle and not legally enforceable. Highlighting the essence of the topic today which is the third clause of the rukunegara which is "KELUHURAN PERLEMBAGAAN" which means "CONSTITUTIONAL SUPREMACY".

Constitution is the highest form of law in our country. When I actually got to know this fact I felt very foolish of the system. Why ask me to remember and recite something all my life which is just mere principle and why not teach us our highest form of law, the CONSTITUTION itself!

Thou I understand the constitution is drafted with many technical jargon's and legal terms yet knowing the constitution is way better than knowing all the nilai in Moral. You can carry your knowledge on constitution for throughout your life, with daily activities and knowing your limits as per the law and what good does knowing all your 36 nilai moral does to your life?

Do you know that it is illegal for a guy to have sex with a 16 year old girl or below even if she consented?
The guy would be charged for rape!  If he was thought of the law, more likely he would have not committed the offence or even at least he knows the consequent of his act. Which on my perspective would lower the possibilities of innocent youth being charged, prosecuted and be doomed for life. Is it his fault to be born as a guy?

At the implementation level it might be difficult but as time goes students would be able to cope-up similar how they cope-up with the uncertain changes of language in which Math & Science be taught in schools and our "Sejarah" syllabus which varies from year to year.

Though I think this is quite of a big leap but it is very essential to empower our youth today as the fate of the nation tomorrow lay in their hands.

Isu Manusia Disuruh Makan Di Bilik Persalinan

The above statement was made by a friend of mine on Facebook. Immaterial of his political standing I personally think this statement was made without proper information and knowledge of the entire issue. I didn't personally penalize him for this as I suppose many others out there might share the same perception about this issue.

This issue would have been entirely different if it was seen as "manusia disuruh makan di bilik persalinan" rather than "pelajar India disuruh makan di dalam bilik persalianan". First of all, is raising an issue being politicized?

It is an issue of Human Rights! This is inhumane and degrading treatment for the kids. This is a relevant issue to be raised as even the government recognize this and took action. Are trying to say tat the government organ voted by the people of Malaysia who won majority seats in the past election and got the royal appointment from the  Yang di-Pertuan Agong dumb fools? What is the purpose of the opposition? To raise issues for the well being of the nation and as a check and balance. There are places as better alternative to be made as a replacement canteen for the kids as proposed now and moved to.

The issue of berbuka puasa in the bilik persalianan,  just so that if you don't know in the Al-Quran it is said  that " Makan dalam tandas hukumnya makruh", tidak berbeza kita masuk untuk berak atau untuk betulkan rambut dan sebagainya, sebab tandas itu adalah tempat kotor. Kotor dalam erti kata lain membuang kotoran. Kita mandi untuk mengeluarkan kotoran dari badan.

By the way brother do you even know what May 13 is? Its not only a riot. It is a disastrous to the country as well. Banyak orang-orang tidak berdosa dianiyai.

Respect other religion and automatically they will respect your religion too! Even if you don't respect other for their religion respect them as a human.

    Begin The Cycle of Trust

In a few more days I'll be hitting 20-years-old. I have successfully survived 1/5 of a century. A big thing I'd say.
I have been thinking a lot lately about the past and the passage that I have passed. One thing that I find very crucial in one's life that we lack today is TRUST. If you observe well, nowadays people tend to trust dogs more than a human. I would't be amazed if someone were to be married with dogs in near future.

TRUST is just a 5 lettered word with a huge impact in everyone's life. To my perception the trust that we give and take form another is never certain. Sad to say! but in world today everything is materialised. One sees another as an opportunity/advantage, with some expectation for their personal benefit because not many sees trust as sacred and divine it is.

     T-R-U-S-T ?
yes trust and so I googled the word “trust.” It was a sobering experience. Google listed about 20 results and none met a single instance of trust in the sense of belief in something or someone. There were all types of financial trusts, businesses with “Trust” in their names, movies, companies eager to help you set up personal trusts, charitable trusts but nothing about putting your trust in anything or anyone. When I did find an post relating to trust in this common sense, it was about mistrust; a psychiatrist offering help for people whose trust had been abused through disloyalty or fraud.

Trust is fundamental to life. If you cannot trust in anything, life becomes intolerable a constant battle against paranoia and looming disaster. You can’t have relationships without trust, let alone good ones. Intimacy depends on it. I suspect more marriages are wrecked by lack of trust than by actual unfaithfulness. The partner who can’t trust the other not to betray him/her will either drive them away or force them into some real or assumed act of faithlessness.

Someone has to begin the cycle of trust by an act of faith. It’s no use waiting for the other person to make the first move. They’re waiting for you. It takes a conscious act of unconditional belief in that other person’s good sense, ability, honesty or sense of commitment to set the ball rolling. Will your trust sometimes be misplaced? Of course! Life isn’t perfect and some people aren’t trustworthy. But will increasing your willingness to trust produce, on balance, a positive benefit? Will it make your life more pleasant and less stressful? I believe so. You have little to lose by trying.
Trust has to start somewhere. Why not with you? Why not today? Why not right now?

"The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them" - Ernest Hemingway

Girl, you're perfect, Just The Way You Are

    Dear girls,

I know some of you compare yourselves to other girls, wishing you were photogenic like them, wishing you could look pretty without trying like them, wishing you had facial features like them, wishing you had physical features like them, & then you look in the mirror & say 'Why do I look like this & not like that'. Well, let me tell you this. Don't try to be like them, be like yourself. I can promise you, there is a guy out there right now who thinks you are beautiful exactly the way you are, & thinks you're prettier than the girls you compare yourselves to. Don't change a damn thing about yourself. You're perfect, just the way you are.

Hari Raya & Humanitarian Day ♥

First of all, I would like to wish all Muslims out there Selamat Hari Raya
Take this opportunity to not flock the shopping malls, theatres and social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter) but spend some quality time with friends and family.
Things might always change, what you appear to have today might not be with you tomorrow! Treasure them while you still have the chance.
Make sure to have fun and whack all the food available today to gain all the weight loss during puasa. Extend my festival wishes to all at home and jangan lupa main mercun the legal ones obviously. Remember, be safe. Enjoyyy!

To those who are not aware today is also the ,

    World Humanitarian Day

Four years ago, the UN General Assembly designated August 19 as World Humanitarian Day, choosing this particular date in commemoration of the 2003 bombing of the UN headquarters in Baghdad in which 22 people lost their lives. The idea is to set aside one day a year to remember humanitarian workers who have been killed or injured while carrying out their work. The theme for this year’s World Humanitarian Day is ‘I WAS HERE’. The aim is to encourage people to reach out to those in need. But it’s also important to pay tribute to those who have given their lives in humanitarian service.
There are so many simple ways you can make a difference in your community.

    WINNER vs LOSER

    1. The Winner is always part of the answer; The Loser is always part of the problem.
    2. The Winner always has a program; The Loser always has an excuse.
    3. The Winner says, "Let me do it for you"; The Loser says, "That is not my job."
    4. The Winner sees an answer for every problem; The Loser sees a problem for every answer.
    5. The Winner says, "It
may be difficult but it is possible"; The Loser says, "It may be possible but it is too difficult.
    6. When a Winner makes a mistake, he says, "I was wrong"; When a Loser makes a mistake, he says, "It wasn't    my fault."
    7. A Winner makes commitments; A Loser makes promises.
    8. Winners have dreams; Losers have schemes. Winners say, "I must do something"; Losers say, "Something must be done." Winners are a part of the team; Losers are apart from the team.
    9. Winners see the gain; Losers see the pain. Winners see possibilities; Losers see problems.
    10. Winners believe in win-win; Losers believe for them to win someone has to lose.
    11. Winners see the potential; Losers see the past. Winners are like a thermostat; Losers are like thermometers.
    12. Winners choose what they say; Losers say what they choose.
    13. Winners use hard arguments but soft words; Losers use soft arguments but hard words.
    14. Winners stand firm on values but compromise on petty things; Losers stand firm on petty things but compromise on values. Winners follow the philosophy of empathy: "Don't do to others what you would not want them to do to you"; Losers follow the philosophy, "Do it to others before they do it to you."
    15. Winners make it happen; Losers let it happen.
    16. Winners plan and prepare to win. The key word is preparation.

    New Court Rules 2012

How many of us are aware of this new crucial changes in the Malaysian Legal System. This system has been applied for the past 63 years.

Starting 1 August 2012, all Magistrate Courts, Sessions Courts and High Courts will be using single Court Rules replacing Subordinate Courts Rules and High Court Rules.
This combine Court Rules is more simple and to unify standard procedure of both courts.

    Wild World by Cat Stevens

Now that I've lost everything to you
You say you wanna start something new
And it's breakin' my heart you're leavin'
    Baby, I'm grievin'
But if you wanna leave, take good care
I hope you have a lot of nice things to wear
But then a lot of nice things turn bad out there

    [Chorus:]
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
It's hard to get by just upon a smile
Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world
I'll always remember you like a child, girl

You know I've seen a lot of what the world can do
And it's breakin' my heart in two
Because I never wanna see you a sad girl
    Don't be a bad girl
But if you wanna leave, take good care
I hope you make a lot of nice friends out there
But just remember there's a lot of bad and beware

    [Chorus]

    Baby, I love you
But if you wanna leave, take good care
I hope you make a lot of nice friends out there
But just remember there's a lot of bad and beware

    Can girls propose to Boys??

Girls proposing to guys is so rare that when it happens people tend to think she is desperate. It has been like a customary thing that only guys should propose. I still don't see people with the mentality that girl proposing is normal thing, out of love and then they argue gender equality plak.

It's okey to have sex, use condoms.

    To begin with,
Do you know what was on the front page of the newspaper today [The Star 6/7/2012] ?
Dead baby in a knapsack    #Dead baby found in shoebox

The baby dumping refers to discarding or leaving alone, for an extended period of time, a child younger than 12 months of age in a public or private setting with the intent to dispose of the child.

The issue of foetus/baby dumping is something that is not foreign to us any more. We come across this issue daily so I don't see a reason for me to write long on the moral and legal obligation of this issue.

Having said that, the main reason of baby dumping is due to pre-marital sex. Because the young parents are not financially steady to bring up the child and worried about being discriminated by the society. Every child is a gift from god, we being human has no rights to deprive the baby from a right to life.

    Some statistics found online.

To my logic it is impossible for us to reduce premarital-sex. Sexual education is just some bullshit. They never work. We are from a generation where we experiment everything we learn, we conduct "test" on what we learn.

Having see and read all this facts how could one youngster not have sex. Sex is like a total exercise for the body with maximum enjoyment/fun. Its hard to control, that's the reality! Talk some sense, we come across sex /seductive scenes in movie's all the time  and Yeah, recently the case of Anwar Ibrahim alleged to be having sex with some prostitute in some hotel room and those retarded news channels kept showing the clip below repeatedly.

News on the television being rates as 'U' - (viewable by all w/out age restrictions) where the DUCK is the censorship you morons?! Set a side political agendas, did they; the news broadcaster ever thought of those kids and teenagers who might be watching the news at that point of time and how this might affect them? and we blame the movies?

To my rational, the best way to eradicate this problem is by urging the use of condom. It is okey to have safe sex than killing an innocent baby, which is pure cruelty! There are only 3 reasons for one not to use a condom.

    1.  The shy feeling to buy a condom. Well illustrated in the video below. Thanks to the advancement of technology, one can now buy condoms online : http://www.condoms.my/products.php?cat=24

    2. Having sex w/out any planning, or in a rush maybe. - You people need to learn the art of "controlling" - If you know what I mean.

3, One could not afford to buy a condom!
So for those with this problem :-

     - Do send a memorandum to the government to reduce the price of condoms,       subsidise maybe.
     - Try borrowing some money from your friends or family.
     - If you still could't find a way, do contact me. I'll sponsor free condoms.

For you it might just be, one in a million sperms or nine months of not suffering from periods but for us who care, its a child's life which no money in the world could ever compensate!

I'm not joking, if you can't afford for a condom contact me and I'll sponsor condoms for FREE.
    *Terms and conditions apply.
